Privacy Policy

Deely ("Deely", "we", "us") is a WhatsApp-based AI assistant for small businesses, operated by Deemindz Creative (Business Name Registration No. 7154323). This policy explains what information we collect when a business ("you", "your business") signs up for and uses Deely, and — because Deely connects to WhatsApp on your behalf — what happens to the messages that pass through it.

1. Information we collect

We collect only what's needed to run the service:

• Account information — your name, email address, business name, and password (stored as a salted hash, never in plain text).
• Business profile data — the information you give Deely so it can answer for you: store location, delivery terms, and your product/price catalog.
• WhatsApp messages ("Platform Data") — the content of customer conversations on the WhatsApp number you connect, received through Meta's WhatsApp Business Platform, so Deely's AI can read and reply to them.
• Payment information — handled entirely by our payment processor, Paystack. Deely never receives or stores your card number, CVV, or full account details — only the plan, amount, and a transaction reference.
• Technical/usage data — basic request logs (timestamps, error messages) used to keep the service running and to debug problems.

2. WhatsApp / Meta Platform Data — how it's used

Data we receive through the WhatsApp Business Platform (message content, phone numbers, message metadata) is used solely to operate Deely for the business that connected the number: matching customer questions against that business's own catalog, drafting a reply, and flagging anything the AI isn't confident about back to the business owner.

• We do not use Platform Data for advertising, and we do not sell it.
• We do not share Platform Data with third parties except the processors listed in section 4, who need it to help deliver the service (e.g. the AI model that drafts a reply).
• Platform Data is retained only for as long as the connected business's account is active, plus a short period for support/debugging, and is deleted on request or on account closure (see section 6).
• Our use of the WhatsApp Business Platform complies with Meta's WhatsApp Business Messaging Policy and Meta's Platform Terms.

3. How we use information generally

• To provide the core service — reading customer messages and generating replies from your catalog.
• To operate your account — billing, plan status, trial reminders, and support.
• To keep the service secure and working — fraud prevention, debugging, abuse monitoring.
• To communicate with you about your account (not marketing, unless you opt in).

4. Who we share data with

We don't sell personal data. We share the minimum necessary with the vendors that make the service work:

• Meta / WhatsApp — the messaging channel itself; all messages necessarily pass through Meta's WhatsApp Business Platform.
• AI model providers (Anthropic and/or Google) — message content is sent to whichever AI provider your account is configured to use, so it can draft a reply. These providers process the text under their own enterprise/API data-handling terms and do not use it to train models on our plan.
• Supabase — our database host, where account, catalog, and conversation records are stored.
• Paystack — our payment processor, for anything involving a card or bank transfer.

We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Deely, our users, or others.

5. Data storage and security

Data is stored in an access-controlled database (Supabase) reachable only via server-side credentials — there is no public/anonymous access to it. Passwords are hashed, not stored in plain text. Card details never touch our servers; Paystack handles those under its own PCI-compliant infrastructure.

6. Data retention and deletion

We keep account and conversation data for as long as your account is active. If you close your account, or ask us to delete your data, we'll delete or anonymize it within a reasonable period, except where we're required to keep certain records (e.g. transaction records) for legal or accounting purposes. 7. Your rights

Depending on where you're based, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete the personal data we hold about you, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these, contact us at the email above.

8. Children's privacy

Deely is a business tool and is not directed at, or intended for use by, children. We don't knowingly collect personal data from children.

9. International data transfers

Our service providers (Supabase, Paystack, Meta, and our AI providers) may process data outside your country, including in the United States. By using Deely, you understand your data may be processed in these locations, under those providers' own safeguards.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the product changes. We'll update the "last updated" date above when we do; significant changes will be communicated to account owners directly.
